Hilarious! I tried to comment on the google searches in my blog, but your spam protector thought it was spammy. Funniest though: do vibrators and dildos being demonic? :)

technically, anything made out of latex, plastic, rubber or any other lipid based polymer is subject to molecular bonding of phospholipids and oils in feces. just like tomato or mustard stains, those can be tricky to clean.

its not the porousness of the material, but the actual make-up that makes the difference in some cases.

Epiphora you're totally right. I was more poking fun than anything else. What can I say? The word poop makes me giggle and magically manages to make me immature. I let myself have more fun with the Google questions since no one actually asked me directly. But I should have added the thorough cleaning instructions.

It isn't always true that non-porous materials don't retain smells. I've had a few toys that did -- silicone and even wood. Usually I spray them with a 10% bleach solution, and that works better than anything else.
