Susie Bright’s new game I Dare You: 30 Sealed Seductions may just be the best sex game ever. Or at least, the best sex game you can buy. I absolutely love it!
Most sex games are totally cheesy. Sometimes that can be fun, but sometimes you just want to spice up your sex life without all the ridiculousness. This game is not cheesy at all, but it also doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Most sex games make assumptions about you and your partner. They assume, for example, that you are heterosexual, that you are in a monogamous relationship, that you are really pretty damn vanilla, that all of your body parts are in perfect working order, etc. This game makes very few assumptions. It assumes you’re going to have sex, which is a pretty good assumption to make for a sex game. The game also assumes you are intelligent which is awesome since I feel like most sex games assume you’re kind of dense. Either that or they assume sex cannot be intelligent.
Who better than Susie Bright to make a sex game that makes sex fun, intelligent, and super hot?
The premise of the game is basically a truth or dare game, but with 15 of each so you don’t have to come up with your own. Although, it could be fun to add your own cards as you think of them.
The truth or “tell me” cards all have thought provoking questions to ask your partner. I’ve seen people say that if they’ve been together a long time they already know all the answers, but I have to say to them “you’re not digging deep enough!” My wife and I have been together almost 4 years and there are always things that you could share that you haven’t yet. We both learned more about each other that night. An example of a “tell me” card: “Tell me a sex fantasy you have that you would only do under three conditions – and what those conditions are.”
The dare cards are the sexy fun cards. These are the cards that are going to get you to actually get it on. The truth cards are interesting and thought provoking but the dare cards are what really makes this game steamy. You may be thinking that 30 cards is not enough to make buying the game worthwhile. I mean how many times can you really play this game? But seriously it will be difficult to stop the action once a dare starts. You should be able to get at least 2 fresh games out of this deck, but I’d bet on 3 or 4 easy. And who says you can’t replay cards you’ve already used? An example of a dare card: I tweeted a pic during play. That one was a LOT of fun!
There are a couple of downsides to this game, but they’re really very small. One is that not all of the cards are going to really apply to you. That’s okay. I found that the game was so intelligent and sexy that it inspired us to think of different ways to make the cards work. We just twisted a couple of things around and that made it more fun.
The second is that each card is sealed in a tiny envelope. Cute and pretty, yes, but also wasteful. A lot of people have complained that they can’t reuse the envelopes either. I think we must have just been more careful when opening them because all of our envelopes are totally reusable. I know you’re excited, but if you take it slow you can save the pretty little envelopes.
And you know what? Those are the only downsides. Seriously!
This game comes in a beautiful box that lends to the romance. I really hope that Susie makes some new cards every year or so to add to the fun and excitement. That’d be awesome!
Thanks to Good Vibrations for sending out this awesome game. Go buy it and have lots of fun!

Wow, reading this just made me float right off the floor… thank you so much. I wanted so much to “get out of the cheese box,” –and you noticed!
We’ve gone back to press with new envelopes that are just a tiny bit sticky, like Post’its, so it’s easier to keep them fresh. I am DYING to make new ones, so hang on tight! I want to set up a site where people can send in new suggestions and twists on old cards, but for the time being, email me… I’m susie@susiebright.com. If one of yours gets in, obviously you get a fresh deck with a cherry on top! ;-)
xo Susie
I HATE sex games! They’re so cheesy! Knowing there’s a non-cheesy, classy game out there is great news! Looks beautiful and lovely, the little envelopes seem charming. Loved the peek at the dare, btw, thank you! Got my imagination flowing hee hee.
Susie I’m totally honored that you read my review AND liked it! And it is so awesome that you’re improving on the game. I will give some thought to this and email you what I come up with.
The idea seems neat, but the suggestion you posted a pic of sounds panic attack-inducingly horrible to me. I’ve got some weird sensory issues, and a lot of common “sexy” things either are unpleasant to me, or just don’t get a reaction at all.
Personally my favourite sex game is strip spin the bottle (like regular spin the bottle, but if you spin and it points at you, take off a piece of clothing), but that tends to assume you *aren’t* in a monogamous relationship.
