The Week in Sex

Okay so it’s Monday, which isn’t technically the weekend. But it is Memorial day weekend which means that I’m still safe, right?

Anyhoo this is what I’ve been reading this week.

Sex News/Interviews

Eden Fantasys isn’t the only sex shop caught in a scandal.

A new porno film featuring only women and trans people of color was released.

Another new porno is coming out, but this one features vajazzled ladies. When will this trend die?

What the hell is wrong with Australia lately? Seriously! First they banned small breasts and female ejaculation in porn and now they are searching travelers for porn when they enter the country. So much for the US being the only western country that is so fucked up about sex.

Lelo announces a new product line. It looks like they’re going in a very different direction on this one. I will have to see them in person to form an opinion. (via @britisshameless)

Spin-ups is a new website where you can see pinups from all 360 degrees. Not sure how I feel about this yet.

Politics

With all the hubub around high schools that were discriminating against queer and trans youth we missed the great story of a cross dressing student who won prom king.

America’s acceptance of same sex relationships crosses the 50% approval line.

Lt. Dan Choi informs us about what is really going on with the DADT repeal amendment.

Users submit ideas to new GOP website for future of America. Hilarity ensues.

A new film about our obsession with virginity is in the process of being made.

Health

That Toy Chick informs teens where they can get free/cheap condoms and lube.

An interesting article written by a high school senior (extremely well written for his age!) about sex education at Catholic high schools.

Britain airs the first television ad for abortion services. It’s pretty tame, but you can guarantee that people are all up in arms about it.

Just for Fun

Complex.com announces the 50 prettiest porn stars of all time. Here’s a hint: They’re allĀ  thin women with long hair and light skin (and often enormous boobs). I was impressed with the racial diversity, but that’s about all the diversity there was. #13 Aria Giovanni will always be #1 to me though.

This is not sex related at all, but I’m gonna share anyways. Bleeding Heart Bakery which is my favorite place to get cupcakes just came out with a new cookbook.

An ad for McDonald’s in France features a closeted gay boy eating with his dad. It’s so cute!
