I have to say that this has suprised me- i am very open minded when it comes to sex, fantasy and fetish but some things i feel should not be encouraged, especially spreading STD's- not cool.

hmm, the biggest problem i have with this line is the name. i mean, if you're marketing this towards people who legit fetishize those things in question, the last thing they'd want to be called is "fucked." it's basically insulting the consumer...

as for the potential danger of these fetishes in real life... that's something to think about.

The issue that concerns me has nothing to do with whether it influences people to do this or that. or whether is is morally right or wrong.
my issue is that topco is wasting its energies on products with a tiny market potential. At best these items could be a small niche within the fetish market.
One new rabbit that sells below expectations would probably have more in sales than the entire fucked line.

Also, large adult manufacturers should be looking toward getting into mainstream by selling high quality items that people want. Even if topco grabs 100% of the "gross gag" market, that is not really much money. They are wasting their time . . .

Coyote thanks so much for your input. I did not know how these toys were packaged or marketed. Now that I know it's pretty obvious that this line is sex negative and I'm kind of surprised when they say they've done their research. These seem more like gag gifts than sex toys meant for actual people with actual fetishes that are outside of the norm. And I couldn't agree with you more on the hermaphrodite and amputee toys. That was why I left them out of the list I made because I didn't think either of them was a "dangerous paraphilia" like vomiting, blood, and STIs can be.

I'm a proponent of freedom of speech, sexploration, safer sex and sex positivity and after viewing each piece in this line I was left feeling a little... sad. And confused.

It's not that people don't have the right to fantasize... it's more about this particular line and way it was displayed.

The packaging is all black with FUCKED across the box (cause you're "fucked" if you want to fuck this). There's an advisory sticker essentially calling you a "pussy" if you can't take it and inside, there is an envelope which includes printed photos of the actual items/situations the products are modeled after.

And it wasn't so much the bug chaser dildo or vomit/shit/blood lube that gave me pause but the "hermaphrodite dildo/sleeve" and "amputee" blow up doll. Maybe because I know people who are both and this line doesn't come from an earnest place of exploring attraction but rather of the "freak" that was once part of the circus sideshow (the vendor's booth was actually a circus tent and these products were in a black room to the side displayed on pedestals inside specimen jars).

This line affected many industry veterans deeply and I think we, as an industry, should take a moment to pause and reflect on why this is/isn't the best way for us to move forward.

There has been so much development and innovation in the sex toy industry, that I think companies are just looking for something, anything new. Appealing to a market, regardless of what it is, is natural progression. There has already been porn that deals with menstruation and vomit, I don't see these toys as being any different. I feel like the intent isn't really to shock or to validate fetishes, but simply to corner one of the few markets left that do not have representation.

I'd say, as long as they're willing to accept the fact that they're dealing with a niche market and that it won't necessarily break into the mainstream, there's nothing wrong with it at all! Not my cup of tea, but far be it from anyone to deny someone else their fantasy.
