Every so often one must go through a purge. Because I have so many sex toys I have to get rid of them from time to time. Above is a crappy cellphone pic of all the toys I am sending off to be recycled. I realize that what I am getting rid of is bigger than most people’s entire collection. But the truth is that I think I bought only one or two of those toys. I am a choosy buyer and will normally only get toys that I know I will really like.

Some of these toys have very fond memories and some of them have only been used once or twice. One has never been used (damn duplicates). A couple are the only vibes my wife brought into our relationship. They have never been used since we moved in together. After all, why would she want to use those when she has access to my entire collection? Most of the toys were given to me for review, but keep in mind that just because I don’t like something doesn’t mean you won’t. And truth be told, I did really like some of these, but I’ve replaced them with better toys. Or maybe my vagina has just gotten pickier.

I thought I had a lot more to get rid of, but I purged most of the worst toys (jelly awfulness) in the last go around.

I am a little reluctant to get rid of the green silicone g-spotter dildo, but it has a taint tapper and as aag said recently, I am delicately tainted.

Many beginners to anal sex find that it is easiest to start where the person who is being penetrated anally is on top. So think of the cowgirl position, but up the butt instead of in the vagina. Reverse cowgirl would work fine as well. The reason that this can often be the best position for beginners is because the person who is on the receiving end has more control over depth, speed, and angle. You can ease that cock or dildo in as quickly or as slowly as you’d like … although I’d suggest slowly since you’re beginners.

Another option if you’re having a difficult time relaxing is to have the receiver laying on their back, but with their hips and legs supported with pillows. This allows the receiver to relax more, but also gives up a lot of the control. If you and your partner trust each other and have really good communication skills during sex this could be a great option.

No matter what you do though, remember to use lots of lube, warm up with fingers and/or butt plugs, and be patient. Porno ass sex is all pretty staged. You can’t just start fucking an ass gung ho like that. Those performers warmed up beforehand.

I do enjoy performing with a wide variety of people and that I do is completely intentional.  As a person, I feel a lot of pride about being queer identified and feel it important that the understandings of what queer is be more broad.  I resist being pigeonholed in general but also want to represent a more fluid sexuality that feels available to all people.  I guess I strive for it and it comes naturally, I just enjoy sex and want to promote a sexuality that is open and accessible.  Lately I have been getting to choose who I work with, especially in doing boy/girl porn.  It’s fun to be able to choose because as I mentioned earlier, I know who is professional and has a reputation for shooting great scenes and being pleasant to work with.  I also have people in the business that I admire and want to work with at some point so getting to choose those people is always great.  I am also flexible and enjoy working with people who are booked, which is how it happens most often.  Again, I have been very lucky that I have really enjoyed a lot of the people I have shot with, that’s the benefit of working with companies you love, they hire great people and you make new acquaintances that way.

Many compared this to the sentence [...]]]> Late last week John “Buttman” Stagliano’s case was dismissed from court for not enough evidence. This is a great relief for the porn community and should be a relief for all really.

Stagliano was charged with obscenity and was facing up to 32 years in prison and $7 million in fines. Many compared this to the sentence handed to Oscar Grant’s murderer who received just 14 years in jail for a crime witnessed around the world .

The obscenity in question featured 3 movies which had such apparently depraved things as female ejaculation (I’ve seen urination cited as one of the violations and I wonder if this is what they are referring to or if there is also urination), milk enemas, ass sex, foot fetish, BDSM, and puppy play. All of the players in the movies were consenting adults. All of the people who would be viewing the movies would also be consenting adults as long as there was no coercion by outside sources having nothing to do with the films themselves or Stagliano. How exactly is this worse than shooting someone? Even if the content of the videos is not something that turns you on, why should it be charged as obscene and the creator thrown in jail with hefty fines? The same could happen for the creator of something that does turn you on. It’s a slippery slope.

Thankfully Stagliano has been let go. But I must worry for other such pornographers who push the envelope. The envelope that is sometimes not even all that far outside of the norm. For example, did you know that fisting is considered to be obscene and distributors will not let it appear in DVD format? Fisting is an incredibly common act in the queer community and something that ends up getting cut from a lot of films where queer actors are told to have the kind of sex that they love to have. And is female ejaculation really pushing the envelope? Many women do it. It’s not even something that a lot of women do by choice. It is a natural reaction to their orgasms. How exactly is that any more obscene then men ejaculating?

I do hope that this sets some sort of precedent, but I worry that it won’t because the case was thrown out for insufficient evidence. Had Stagliano been judged not guilty then the precedent could have been set and it would have been more difficult to convict pornographers after this. Although I am curious how much evidence is needed when prosecutors had an entire video catalogue to choose from.

Obscenity laws are supposedly meant to protect people, but I have to wonder who they think they are protecting. If anything, the adult industry needs to stop being shamed all the time and there needs to be more of a focus on enhancing the working environments for sex workers. But that’s another argument for another day, one I’m always making.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had one [...]]]> I love seeing how people get to my site. And sometimes they inadvertently find my site by asking a question I never answer here. That makes me sad :( So in the interest of getting people’s questions answered I will respond to questions I see people Googling to get here.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had one of these. People have just been getting here by the same old boring ways apparently. But yay, we have a new one!

Q: Can you make a buttplug out of anything?

A: I’m not sure if they’re asking if a butt plug can be made out of any material or if they are planning on making a butt plug themselves. So I will answer each part independently.

1. Butt plugs are made out of many different materials, but it cannot be made out of any material. For example, butter would probably make a pretty bad butt plug material. Sure you could carve it into the shape of a butt plug, but it would probably melt and then you would have a very buttery butt. Butt plugs also shouldn’t be made from jelly, cyberskin, or any other sex toy material which smells awful when taken out of the packaging. If you don’t want to smell it you probably shouldn’t put it in your body.

Butt plugs should be made out of awesome materials like silicone, steel, and glass.

2. Please don’t make your own butt plugs unless you are well versed in making other sex toys (Hint: Not like this guy) and understand that the base needs a wide flare to keep it from getting sucked up your butt. It’s really just better to not make your own butt plugs and to buy them because they tend to be safer if you get them from a reputable manufacturer/sex shop.
